Crossy!

The crossword of yesterday. Now in your pocket.

Clues sit inside the grey squares, arrows show where to write, and the paper feels like a Sunday morning newspaper.

Crossy splash screen: newspaper grid with the word CROSSY, a pencil, and a lightbulb
Paper, ink, and one arrow is enough to begin.

Clues in the grid

Like the newspaper: the grey square is the clue. No side list — everything lives on the paper.

Arrows every way

Right, left, down. The arrow tells you where the word runs — just like a classic arrow crossword.

Picture clues

Sometimes the drawing is the clue: a pencil, a bulb, woodcut cuts that feel like old print.

Inside the board

Words meet. The clue is always beside them.

Crossy is a true arrow crossword: read the clue in the square, follow the arrow, and fill letters on a big keyboard.

Boards grow from easy to hard. Some replace text with pictures — just like the old puzzle sheets.

How to play

Three steps. Like the paper, without the pencil.

The rule is simple, and the board teaches quickly. As the squares multiply — you need more patience, and more crossing between words.

  1. Read the clue

The grey square holds the clue. Tap it — and the word lights up.

  2. Follow the arrow

The arrow sets the direction. Fill letter by letter, left to right or top to bottom.

  3. Cross until the end

One word opens the next. When the board fills — move on to the next sheet.
